"In most countries, women only earn between 60 and 75% of men's wages, for the same work" (Olorunshola,2016). This statistic shows that employers around the world allow their companies to pay women less than men, even when they share the same job title (Olorunshola,2016). This behavior has created a gender wage gap that renders men and women's earning unequal (Olorunshola,2016).
